Defending Ron Paul, twice

From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:

Defending Ron Paul - Not only does Mr. Kistler incorrectly state Paul's policy positions, but he also shows how far liberals and neocons will go to deride the only candidate seeking the presidency who stands for traditional, conservative principles.

Defending Ron Paul II - This distrust of government agencies is one of Paul's most enduring attributes. But we honor him most for his integrity, his humility, his honesty and his consistency. The record of his public and private life leaves one breathless. Ron Paul truly is a once-in-a-lifetime candidate.

I am not sure why Mr. Kistler's letter was published, especially as he called Dr. Paul, the OB-GYN from Lake Jackson, Texas, a "quack" -- other than to expose the fact that some of Paul's critics are mean, uneducated and irrational.
