One Republican candidate addresses Arab American Institute's National Leadership Conference

A lone Republican addressed the Arab American Institute's National Leadership Conference, Ron Paul. Other Republican presidential candidates were invited to participate at this important event but are rumored to have declined due to Islamophobia, I mean scheduling conflicts.

USA Daily weekly online poll results

USA Daily held a presidential election poll, for fun. Mick Huckabee spammers snagged their candidate the #2 spot despite lack of fundraising or much visible grassroots activity. Concerted effort to dethrone Paul aside, the Hucksters came up way short as top-tier candidate Ron Paul ran away with the victory.

Ron Paul set to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno

On October 30th, Ron Paul is set to appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Also appearing on that night are Tom Cruise and the Sex Pistols. Kim Kardashian bares her butt in Playboy but that's not what I'm talking about here. Rupertville is reporting on the U.S. Armenian/Ottoman Turk genocide House vote. I wonder if Ron Paul will be asked about that. Why are our politicians spending so much time and money on something that happened almost 100 years ago in a far away land?

Meanwhile, it's amateur night over here. I don't know what the allure of that stuff is. It's like they think that they're Mike Jordan but carry themselves in capri pants. Strange, kinda like this piece of how film couples can have chemistry problems. Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte, Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore, John Travolta and Lily Tomlin, Nicole Kidman and any guy, Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon are but to name a few that don't feel the love. I don't see Cameron on the list, or Jennifer, but they've been in so many amateurish romantic comedies that I'm sure they've run across a bad film hook-up or two.

North Dakota Republican Party holds straw poll, hides results

The North Dakota Republican party held its first straw poll. It didn't go very well. Mick Huckabee and Ron Paul each got about 4% of the vote, maybe. Party officials would not say how many people participated nor how many votes each candidate received so the results Minot be accurate. (Smoke Cocktail)

Ron Paul flies past $2,000,000 for October

Donations to the Ron Paul for President campaign are quickly gaining steam. His October fundraising has been accumulating slower than the goals which are stated on the campaign website, but they still dwarf lower-tier candidates such as Mick Huckabee and Tom Tancredo. I made a post on the 24th when donations were at about $1,770,000, as of right now they are at $2,237,167. The goal for October is still set at $4 million but I don't know if supporters can meet that and still make a big splash on November 5th.

Ron Paul + Undecided = Hillary Clinton loss

A recent poll by Rasmussen shows that, with the support of 'Undecided' Americans, Ron Paul could easily defeat Hillary Clinton in the general election.

Ron Paul closes in on $2 million for October, gains crucial ground for Christian vote

The Ron Paul campaign for President of the United States is closing in on the $2 million mark for October donations. Impressive. Ron Paul also placed very well at the recent Value Voters event, garnering about 15% of the vote. That placed him well ahead of Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani(less than 2%) among an important sect of voters.

Writer at Lone Star Times frequents racist websites, admits to harassing phone calls

As you can see here, the Lone Star Times can't be trusted as the writer frequently visits and uses screenshots from a supposedly racist website. They've also admitted that the managing editor makes repeated harassing phone calls to the Ron Paul campaign. Ron Paul has spoken repeatedly about his views on racism and from what I can see has no need or moral responsibility to respond to a request from someone who obviously and admittedly frequents racist websites.

The Lone Star Times also seems to advocate persecution of individuals, and groups, for thought crimes. Apparently, even though the named targets of their illogical bashing have not been proven to have committed any crimes against any person, they are not entitled to their own thoughts and opinions.

Defending Ron Paul, twice

From the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review:

Defending Ron Paul - Not only does Mr. Kistler incorrectly state Paul's policy positions, but he also shows how far liberals and neocons will go to deride the only candidate seeking the presidency who stands for traditional, conservative principles.

Defending Ron Paul II - This distrust of government agencies is one of Paul's most enduring attributes. But we honor him most for his integrity, his humility, his honesty and his consistency. The record of his public and private life leaves one breathless. Ron Paul truly is a once-in-a-lifetime candidate.

I am not sure why Mr. Kistler's letter was published, especially as he called Dr. Paul, the OB-GYN from Lake Jackson, Texas, a "quack" -- other than to expose the fact that some of Paul's critics are mean, uneducated and irrational.

Reform Party of Ohio backs Ron Paul for President

Mansfield News Journal - At its convention Saturday, the Reform Party of Ohio endorsed Texas Rep. Ron Paul for President.

Paul, running as a Republican, pledged to bring troops home from Iraq and is the only candidate who is not a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.

Gallup Poll - 65% of Conservative Republicans would vote for 70+ year old presidential candidate

Good news for Ron Paul, 65% of Conservative Republicans have no problem voting for someone over 70. Even better news is that of non-Christian religions the number rises to 70%. 64% of men ages 18-49 would have no problem voting for Ron Paul due to his age.

Police chief from Beverly Hills Cop 2 takes on Ron Paul

A 21 yr old guy raised his hand and said he was supporting Ron Paul. Luntz absolutely lost it on this kid and said "Why in the hell did you not put that on your questionaire that was e-mailed to you? Why does it not shock me that a Ron Paul supporter would pull this kind of crap?"

The Ron Paul comment I made was simple and sweet and every single person except the Ron Paul supporter all said "perfect" with regards to that remark.

Luntz walks over and says "you are good...you are going down to the front row...keep talking."

Bill introduced by Ron Paul to Repeal Federal Reserve Act hits 3500 Diggs

Awhile back Ron Paul introduced H.R. 2755 - To abolish the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and the Federal reserve banks, to repeal the Federal Reserve Act, and for other purposes. A link to the bill was submitted to Digg and now it has 3,500 votes. Nice!

Christian Broadcasting News wants to know why you will vote for Ron Paul

Christian Broadcasting News - Web Extra!

If the 2008 presidential election was held tomorrow, who would you vote for?

Rudy Giuliani, Mike Huckabee, Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul, Mitt Romney, Tom Tancredo, Fred Thompson? Maybe you would vote for a Democrat perhaps? Or write in your own candidate?

Maybe you haven't made a decision. After all, the election is still a little more than a year away.
But for thousands of voters in Florida, the answer is. ? Well, there is not one clear winner, but if you took a close listen to some of the people outside the GOP debate Sunday night, you might say Giuliani, but then again you could say Ron Paul.

So, if the election was held tomorrow, who would you vote for?

Tell me why, and I might post your response in a future article.

NBC's Andy Merten admits Ron Paul was the real winner of Fox debate

NBC's Andy Merten admits Ron Paul was the real winner at Sunday's Fox Republican debate. A candidate must preach fear of and death to dark people in order to draw cheers from the Fox crowd.

American public says Ron Paul won Fox debates

The presidential candidates have spoken and so has the public. The final results are in and polls show that Ron Paul easily defeated the lesser Republican opponents in the Fox News debates Sunday night. This marks yet another victory for the Ron Paul for President campaign as the odds were stacked against him tonight. Online supporters for other candidates were encouraging their followers to spam the Fox poll but none could pull of an upset.

Ron Paul raised more donations on Saturday than Mick Hukabee has raised in all of October.

Ron Paul beats Thompson and Giuliani in Value Voters straw poll

Leading presidential candidate Ron Paul put the smack down on Rudy Giuliani and Fred Thompson at the Value Voters straw poll. This is just a continuation of the success that Dr. Paul has seen against his opponents in various straw polls around the United States. He is an impressive 31-5 against Rudy Giuliani and 30-5-1 against Mike Huckabee so far.

Daniel Ellsberg discusses Ron Paul, Mike Gravel and Dennis Kucinich

(Iran - Presstv.ir) - Daniel Ellsberg (born April 7, 1931) is a former American military analyst employed by the RAND Corporation who precipitated a national uproar in 1971 when he released the Pentagon Papers, a top-secret Pentagon study of government decision-making during the Vietnam War, to The New York Times and other newspapers.

MWC- Why is it that politicians appear to be closely aligned as to American foreign policy and you never hear those two key words: hegemony and imperialism?

DE- Now what you do not find among leading politicians or you rarely find among them, is an actual anti-imperialism, somebody who is really prepared to oppose American hegemony and empire. I think there are a few politicians like that running for the presidency, specifically Representative Dennis Kucinich, former Senator Mike Gravel and Representative Ron Paul (a Libertarian Republican). These candidates are actually anti-imperialist in their outlook, but they are very isolated, and little-known among the public. They're dismissed by the media, both because of their views and partly, no doubt, because they're seen as incapable of getting the kind of funding that would make them serious candidates, and that's true.

I think if the American public were ever to be given the alternative by a major candidate of non-imperial policy, we really might have a very sizeable number of people who would endorse that. By sizable I don't necessarily mean the majority, but a very large number, maybe 30 to 40 percent of the people, would go for that, conceivably even higher.

But they are not going to be offered that choice by our political process because the people who largely finance these campaigns, corporations and the rich, are benefiting from the imperial policy and they are not at all interested in pushing the views of someone like Gravel, Paul or Kucinich, who have an alternative point of view.

Australians rumored to want Ron Paul to rule country via Internet. White rabbit harass Howard.

Disgruntled by the antics of Prime Minister John Howard, Australians are rumored to be quietly plotting to elect Ron Paul to rule their country via the Internet. Evidence of this plot can be seen in a recent ambush of Prime Minister Howard by three Australians dressed in white rabbit suits. Rupertville media is trying to play the incident off as distasteful satire but it's not hard to see that the white rabbit suits were occupied by Australian Ron Paul fans who chose the red pill.

Republican Ron Paul in possible 'fake online campaign'

(Rupertville, Inc.) by Mark Schliebs - A CANDIDATE for the US presidency is being buoyed by a massive online campaign that may be a fake grassroots movement organised by party staff.

Head of Flinders University’s Department of American Studies Don De Bats told NEWS.com.au that it “sounded like” an astroturfing campaign.

Astroturfing is the term used to describe a fake grassroots campaign, where members of an organisation create the illusion that “ordinary people” are behind the movement.

Professor De Bats said that for a relatively unknown candidate like Dr Paul to have so much prominence online was suspicious.

“I would not put any credibility on those results,” Prof De Bats said. More...
