Kim Kardashian bares her butt in Playboy but that's not what I'm talking about here. Rupertville is reporting on the U.S. Armenian/Ottoman Turk genocide House vote. I wonder if Ron Paul will be asked about that. Why are our politicians spending so much time and money on something that happened almost 100 years ago in a far away land?

Meanwhile, it's amateur night over here. I don't know what the allure of that stuff is. It's like they think that they're Mike Jordan but carry themselves in capri pants. Strange, kinda like this piece of how film couples can have chemistry problems. Julia Roberts and Nick Nolte, Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore, John Travolta and Lily Tomlin, Nicole Kidman and any guy, Angelina Jolie and Matt Damon are but to name a few that don't feel the love. I don't see Cameron on the list, or Jennifer, but they've been in so many amateurish romantic comedies that I'm sure they've run across a bad film hook-up or two.

Donations to the Ron Paul for President campaign are quickly gaining steam. His October fundraising has been accumulating slower than the goals which are stated on the campaign website, but they still dwarf lower-tier candidates such as Mick Huckabee and Tom Tancredo. I made a post on the 24th when donations were at about $1,770,000, as of right now they are at $2,237,167. The goal for October is still set at $4 million but I don't know if supporters can meet that and still make a big splash on November 5th.

Ron Paul also placed very well at the recent Value Voters event, garnering about 15% of the vote. That placed him well ahead of Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani(less than 2%) among an important sect of voters.

Writer at Lone Star Times frequents racist websites, admits to harassing phone calls

As you can see here, the Lone Star Times can't be trusted as the writer frequently visits and uses screenshots from a supposedly racist website. They've also admitted that the managing editor makes repeated harassing phone calls to the Ron Paul campaign. Ron Paul has spoken repeatedly about his views on racism and from what I can see has no need or moral responsibility to respond to a request from someone who obviously and admittedly frequents racist websites.

The Lone Star Times also seems to advocate persecution of individuals, and groups, for thought crimes. Apparently, even though the named targets of their illogical bashing have not been proven to have committed any crimes against any person, they are not entitled to their own thoughts and opinions.

Also, what's up with the domain servers for LST being listed as davidbenzion.com? LST was registered through Domains by Proxy which hides further info. Davidbenzion.com takes you to an empty wordpress blog.

A 21 yr old guy raised his hand and said he was supporting Ron Paul. Luntz absolutely lost it on this kid and said "Why in the hell did you not put that on your questionaire that was e-mailed to you? Why does it not shock me that a Ron Paul supporter would pull this kind of crap?"

The Ron Paul comment I made was simple and sweet and every single person except the Ron Paul supporter all said "perfect" with regards to that remark.

MWC- Why is it that politicians appear to be closely aligned as to American foreign policy and you never hear those two key words: hegemony and imperialism?

DE- Now what you do not find among leading politicians or you rarely find among them, is an actual anti-imperialism, somebody who is really prepared to oppose American hegemony and empire. I think there are a few politicians like that running for the presidency, specifically Representative Dennis Kucinich, former Senator Mike Gravel and Representative Ron Paul (a Libertarian Republican). These candidates are actually anti-imperialist in their outlook, but they are very isolated, and little-known among the public. They're dismissed by the media, both because of their views and partly, no doubt, because they're seen as incapable of getting the kind of funding that would make them serious candidates, and that's true.

I think if the American public were ever to be given the alternative by a major candidate of non-imperial policy, we really might have a very sizeable number of people who would endorse that. By sizable I don't necessarily mean the majority, but a very large number, maybe 30 to 40 percent of the people, would go for that, conceivably even higher.

But they are not going to be offered that choice by our political process because the people who largely finance these campaigns, corporations and the rich, are benefiting from the imperial policy and they are not at all interested in pushing the views of someone like Gravel, Paul or Kucinich, who have an alternative point of view.
